'i mi' CASS supports people facing economic hardship, social isolation and hard times. Our volunteers are at the heart of it all, helping run the Saturday Hub, handing out grab bags, connecting people to advice and foodbank referrals, and doing the admin and outreach that keeps it all going. Whether you have a few hours a month or want to get more involved, there's a place for you here.
Why volunteer with us
You'll be hands-on from day one. You'll have a real say in how things are shaped, not just a fixed role handed to you. We'll support you with induction and guidance, and you'll be working alongside people who care deeply about doing this well.

What you'll gain

Who we're looking for
You don't need any particular experience or qualifications to volunteer with us, just a bit of time, a friendly manner, and a willingness to get stuck in. Whether you can spare a couple of hours on a Saturday or want to get more involved behind the scenes, there's a place for you.
A typical Saturday
On a typical Saturday, our volunteers might help welcome people to the Hub, prepare and hand out grab bags, have a chat with someone who's had a hard week, or help point people towards other local support. No two Saturdays are quite the same.
